1. Introduction

Welcome to Andromeda Drones (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By accessing our website, booking our services, or engaging with our aerial imaging and mapping solutions, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.

These Terms comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and relevant aviation requirements under the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

 

2. Our Services

​

Andromeda Drones provides professional drone-related services including, but not limited to:

• Aerial photography and videography

• 2D orthomosaic mapping

• 3D modelling and point clouds

• Construction progress imaging

• Asset inspections

• Land and property surveys (non-survey grade unless specified)

All services are subject to availability, weather conditions, and regulatory constraints.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate project details and site access information

• Ensure the shooting location is safe and lawful for drone operations

• Obtain necessary permissions for flying over private property or restricted areas (unless arranged with us)

• Ensure no hazards or unsafe conditions exist at the worksite

• Comply with all CASA-related requirements when applicable

We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a job if the site is unsafe or non-compliant.

 

4. Bookings & Payments

​

• Bookings are confirmed only once approval is received via our communication channels and payment terms are agreed.

• A deposit or full upfront payment may be required depending on the project.

• Pricing is provided in AUD unless otherwise stated.

• Additional costs may apply for travel, specialised processing, or complex data outputs.

 

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

5.1 Client Cancellations

​

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the booking may be eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee or forfeiture of deposit due to allocated time and resources.

 

5.2 Weather & Safety

​

Drone operations are heavily dependent on weather and CASA restrictions.
We may reschedule a job at any time if:

• Winds exceed safe limits

• Rain, storms, or visibility issues occur

• Airspace restrictions apply

• Site conditions are unsafe

No penalties apply for weather-related rescheduling.

 

6. Deliverables & Data Ownership

6.1 Ownership

​

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Clients retain ownership of all final deliverables (images, videos, maps, models).

 

6.2 Usage Rights

​

By agreeing to these Terms, the client grants us the right to use non-confidential imagery for:

• Portfolio displays

• Social media content

• Marketing materials

Clients may opt out of promotional use by requesting this in writing prior to project completion.

 

6.3 Delivery Timeframes

​

Delivery timeframes vary depending on:

• Project size

• Data processing requirements

• Post-production complexity

Estimated delivery times will be provided before work commences.

 

7. Liability & Limitations

​

To the fullest extent permitted under Australian law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or deliverables.

• We are not responsible for losses caused by factors outside our control (e.g., weather, airspace restrictions, or supplier outages).

• We cannot guarantee specific outcomes when environmental or project variables prevent ideal capture conditions.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights under the ACL.

 

8. Drone Safety & Compliance

All flights are conducted:

• Within CASA regulations

• By a licensed and insured Remote Pilot

• With safety as the highest priority

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a mission if conditions put people, property, or equipment at risk.

 

9. Payment Terms

​

Unless otherwise specified:

• Invoices are due within 7 days of issue

• Late payments may incur fees or suspension of future work

• Final deliverables may be withheld until full payment is received

 

10. Confidentiality

​

We treat all project details, locations, and data as confidential unless the client grants permission for disclosure or use in promotional materials.

 

11. Third-Party Services

​

Some deliverables may involve third-party platforms (e.g., cloud storage, WebODM, online file delivery).
We are not responsible for outages, downtime, or security issues originating from these providers.

 

12. Website Use

​

When using the Andromeda Drones website, you agree not to:

• Copy or distribute content without permission

• Upload harmful or malicious content

• Attempt to hack, damage, or interfere with site functionality

All website content is protected by copyright.

 

13. Governing Law

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the State/Territory in which services are delivered.
Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate Australian courts.
